World News Photo ? The American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks, will sing the national anthem on season-opening game between the New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers.

Jordin Sparks is the daughter of former New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys cornerback Phillippi Sparks.

The league also announced that a group of 32 NFL alumni star, one representing each team, will take part in pregame ceremonies. Hall of Fame quarterback Bart Starr will represent the Packers, and former running back Deuce McAllister will represent the Saints.

The Packers also will unveil a championship banner.
