Analysts have said that the housing market will improve when the jobs picture improves, and vice-versa, and the positive trends in both have given a hint of optimism about 2012... ECONOMIC EVENTS: Durable goods orders for the month of November rose 3.8%, versus the expected increase of 2.2%. The core reading, which excludes transportation items, was up 0.3%, versus the expected increase of 0.4%. Personal income rose 0.1%, versus the expected increase of 0.2%, and personal spending rose 0.1%, versus the expected increase of 0.3%. New home sales increased 1.6% in November, resulting in an annual run rate of 315K units...
