This conference explores medical applications of mid-infrared laser technologies, such as human breath monitoring, non-invasive glucose sensing for diabetes, cancer diagnostics, and environmental health monitoring. The meeting will focus on key areas of interest and addresses market impact. The event is hosted by the NSF Engineering Research Center on Mid-InfraRed Technologies for Health and the Environment (MIRTHE) headquartered at Princeton University.

This event is intended to engage a diverse and multi-disciplinary group of individuals and corporate and government stakeholders to help speed the adoption of emerging technologies by defining the market applications and opportunities. We are working with the Cleveland Clinic to increase visibility and understanding among clinicians and other medical personnel, and are reaching out to entrepreneurs and private and corporate venture capitalists, and other investors interested in the medical/healthcare field.

Sponsors: We greatly appreciate support from our event sponsor, Meagher Emanuel Laks Roehling & Goldberg, LLP, Intellectual Property Law, and our program sponsor, the National Science Foundation.
