Jack Tales: Appalachian Adventure!

Interactive storytelling and puppets add to the fun when folk stories come to life onstage during Jack Tales: Appalachian Adventures! This free program will be presented by Raleigh Little Theatre and performed by Storytellers to Go!, a teen ensemble, on Saturday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m. at the N.C. Museum of History in Raleigh.? Admission is free, and parking is free on weekends.

Experience some of North Carolina?s mountain heritage through lively stories that have been handed down through generations. These rousing tales include Jack and the Northwest Wind, Cat and Mouse, and Jack and the Robbers. Travel the North Carolina mountains with Jack as he meets adventure at every turn.
Jack Tales: Appalachian Adventures! is appropriate for ages 5 and up. The play, written by Judy M. Dove, supports character education.

The museum is located at 5 E. Edenton Street, across from the State Capitol. Parking is available in the lot across Wilmington Street.
