The Freeman Family: Baby shower and wedding

I'm at the age where everyone around me is having babies.? While I was pregnant with Lily, I think I knew of at least 20-30 other Mommies-to-be.? My cousin, Jill, is pregnant with her first baby due in August.? I took the girls down to her baby shower a few weeks ago.?

I tried to take a picture of them together before we left the house, and even let Ainsley hold Lily.? We very rarely let Ainsley hold Lily, so she thought she was big stuff!

I stopped at Dad's before the shower, and Ainsley loved playing with Uncle Tanner, even if he did torment her!

Our next stop was the baby shower, where Ainsley was excited to see cake and presents!?

Ainsley was pretty good during the shower, but I wouldn't have been able to do it alone with both girls if I didn't have a few of my aunts there to help!

Joel and I took the girls to Mom's for the night a few weeks ago so we could go to a wedding.? It was Lily's first night away from us.? I do have to say that it was nice to get a few hours of uninterrupted sleep that night!? Mom said both girls did really good and Lily only got up once for her in the night.? I showed up the next morning to pick them up to find Mom fixing a crying Lily a bottle and Ainsley asleep on the couch!? Both girls were pretty worn out from playing with Grandma (and the dogs)!

The Bicknell wedding was at a new park in Springfield, and it was very pretty!? They ended up having the ceremony inside because of the wind but it all turned out nice.? Tim and Shannon even danced to their own choreographed song after the wedding which was fun to watch.? Joel had a really good time and saw a lot of old friends he hadn't seen in awhile.? I know he would have loved to stay longer, but I was beyond tired and ready to go home and sleep knowing I wouldn't have to get up in the middle of the night to give Lily a bottle.? I think we were home by 10, but it was after a "fun" ride home.? There was severe weather and we drove home right in the middle of it, and I might add with Jennifer in the car with us so it was an exciting ride home!
