Voyage Theme 1.0 is released on January 9, 2013. The major features in this release are Home Page options and Social Links.
Home Page
WordPress? Page Template concept is powerful and confusing. In the Reading setting, a static page can actually display dynamic posts. To avoid the confusion, Voyage Theme introduces a theme option called Home Page style. It gives you the following choices without creating the dummy pages:
- Featured Posts
- Landing Page
- Blog (Full Posts)
- Blog (Summary)
Social Links
Links to Social Networks have been added for Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Google+ and RSS Feed. You have options to show the links in the Header and/or Footer area. Simply enter the URLs of your profiles.
Page Templates
In WordPress?s Twenty Twelve theme, the page templates are stord in page-templates folder. As Voyage Theme is just released last month, we decided to move the page templates from pages to page-templates as well.
Twitter Boostrap
Both CSS and JavaScript have been updated to version 2.2.2. The next major release will be 3.0.
