Trever Koek Joins NXT Capital Real Estate Finance as Vice President

Chicago, IL ? NXT Capital announced today that it has hired Trever Koek as a Vice President in its Real Estate Finance unit with primary responsibility for managing the group?s loans and preferred equity investments.

Trever brings more than 12 years of commercial real estate lending experience to NXT Capital, having held various loan origination and credit positions with BB&T Real Estate Funding, Merrill Lynch Capital, GE Capital and Heller Financial. Most recently, Trever served as Vice President of Chicago-based BB&T Real Estate Funding where he was responsible for managing the underwriting, credit approval and closing functions for the group?s non-recourse interim bridge loan program that focused on value-add acquisition and redevelopment projects.

Trever earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin ? Madison and a J.D./M.B.A. from DePaul University.
