We listed a home on craigslist and got this response does it sound legit??
Hello,I am extremely interested in this property,.I am a Licensed New Mexico Real Estate Broker, please see my website at www.SarinasLegacy.com I would like to purchase this property with Owner Financing.I would like to use my 3% buyer/broker commission as the sole down payment and have the seller finance the balance at an interest rate equal to his monthly payment. I will purchase ?as is? and take over his payments, with a three year call.I will facilitate the entire closing on my end, there will be no closing costs to the seller unless he has a Listing Agent that he must pay.I will waive the Appraisal, Survey, Title Insurance, Inspections and Repairs. RUN LIKE HELL FAST 30 YEARS AROUND REAL ESTATE> Jerry, good luck. ADDITIONAL INFO. Checked with others and seems like variation of scam, goes like this. They buy with no money down, they don?t want to invest money in a place thy have no intention of owning. Seller finance, bull they want to pay YOU monthly and then you pay mortgage, they want to hide this from your mortgage lender. They don?t need a appraisal or survey or title insurance, and they are real estate people!!! Its because they have no intention of ever owning property or making any payments to you. They will rent out to some one for 2 3 4 thousand dollars a month and collect rent, make no payments to you. Remember they now control this property and you will have to foreclose on them, 1 year, 18 months while they collect rent, remember they now control this property!!!!
