Youth Recreational League | DTS New York

Dutch Total Soccer (DTS) Recreation league is a co-ed soccer league for players between the ages of 5-10 years old.

All games are held at Aviator Sports & Events Center on its indoor turf fields.? During the weekly league games,?the Dutch Total Soccer coaches will referee the games and teach the players the basic rules of soccer. The coaches will pause play to explain specific game?situations or rules that should be implemented throughout each game.? In addition, offensive and defensive concepts will be taught and progression based skill instruction to be included in each weeks session.

Teams will be comprised of 5 players (4 players + a goalie).? Each game?will be?10 minutes in length.? Each session, we can accept 6 teams per age group (First 30 individual registrations).? After the 30 spots have been filled, players will be added to a wait list and will have the option to register for Session II of the recreation league.

Each team will have a minimum of?4 games per day. Every week new teams will be formed by the coaches?to promote additional competition between the players and to ensure all teams are at an even level of play.
